Elaine is soooo back!
It was a week day, tuesday to be exact. We haven’t seen her for a year so we really missed her. Elaine called and said that she wanted some steak, so we went to Makati Shangrila to satisfy her cravings.
It was a special week for Makati Shang for it’s a week featuring some Australian taste.
Circles is known for its excellent steaks but that night we didn’t expect that we will be eating 3 extraordinary kinds of meat namely:
1. Emu
2. Crocodile
and last but not least,
3. Kangaroo
Honestly, at first, I’m really afraid to try the unusual steaks for 2 reasons.
1. I always watch scientists protect these animals in National Geographic.
2. They are endangered species for crying out loud.
So there, I hesitated for awhile, but when we saw and smelled the aroma of the meat, we didn’t think twice but got pieces of every meat in front of us. It tasted so good that i even forgot to take pictures. So here are some pictures taken by momsey Elaine and popsey Sherwin.
are you excited with the food?
let’s see what’s in your plate
The buffet also offers Italian, American, Chinese and our very own — Filipino dishes. We also helped ourselves with some Japanese sushi and maki.

.i love japanese food.

The night can’t end without some dessert.
.we love chocolates.
Here are some pictures of cakes and chocolates that satisfied our sweet cravings.
.milk chocolate with strawberry.
.dark chocolate cake with chocolate mousse shot.
.assorted cakes.
After the sugar rush.. a cup of coffee is a must.. (especially for ate Dianne)

Before going home, we decided to take some pictures and fool around.

It was definitely a night to remember. We’ll miss you Elaine and Sherwin – our momsicle and popsicle -!
